Terms of Service
Last updated: July 22, 2026
Welcome to Doodle Twist, a free daily drawing challenge. By subscribing or submitting a drawing, you agree
to these terms. Questions? Email mail@doodletwist.com.
The service
Account holders can choose to receive one drawing prompt per day by email, by text, both, or neither —
these are independent, optional notification settings chosen at signup, not an either/or choice. The daily
prompt is also always available on our Instagram story and the Doodle Twist homepage, so no notification
option is required to participate. Creating an account also lets you submit a drawing for each prompt.
Submissions are automatically reviewed, approved entries are posted publicly, and one winner is picked per
prompt. It's a game — winning gets you bragging rights, not prizes or payment.
Text messaging program
- Opt-in: texting is off by default. You opt in with a dedicated consent checkbox at
signup, separate from agreeing to these Terms and the Privacy Policy — it's never pre-checked and never
bundled with any other agreement.
- Program: one recurring automated text per day with the daily drawing prompt, plus an
occasional note if you win. Message frequency: about 1 message per day.
- Opt-out: reply STOP to any message to cancel. Reply
HELP for help, or email mail@doodletwist.com.
- Cost: we don't charge for texts, but message and data rates from your carrier may
apply.
- Consent to receive texts is not a condition of signing up — you can opt into email
notifications independently, opt into both, or skip messaging entirely.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your submissions
- Only submit drawings you made yourself. By submitting, you confirm the work is yours.
- You keep ownership of your art. You grant Doodle Twist a non-exclusive license to display it — on this
website, and on our Instagram account if it wins — along with your username/handle and caption.
- Want a submission taken down? Email us and we'll remove it from the site.
- Submissions must follow our content standards: no nudity, violence, hate, harassment, or other content
that would violate Instagram's Community Guidelines. Submissions are screened automatically and may be
rejected without notice.
- One submission per prompt, please.
Your public profile
- Every account gets a public profile page at doodletwist.com/profile.html?u=yourusername, linked
automatically anywhere your name appears on the site (the archive, this month's submissions, etc.).
It's also findable through our profile search page.
- From your account settings, you can add an optional bio and choose up to 6 of your own past
submissions to feature on your profile. Both are optional and off by default — your profile page works
fine with neither set.
- Anything you put in your bio is public. Don't post anything there you wouldn't want a stranger to
read, and the same content standards that apply to submissions (no nudity, violence, hate, harassment)
apply to your bio too.
- You can deactivate your account at any time from your account settings. This takes your public profile
down entirely — visitors see the same "not found" message they'd get for a username that was never
registered — and pauses notifications and new submissions. Reactivating restores everything.
Fair play
Winners are selected by an automated scoring process. We may reject submissions or remove subscribers who
abuse the service (spam, impersonation, plagiarized work, attempts to game scoring). Our decisions on
winners and takedowns are final.
Eligibility
Doodle Twist is not directed at children under 13, and you must be at least 13 to subscribe or submit.
Disclaimers
Doodle Twist is provided as-is, free of charge, with no warranties. We may change, pause, or discontinue
the service at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doodle Twist is not liable for any damages
arising from your use of the service.
Changes
If we make meaningful changes to these terms (like adding paid plans), we'll update this page and the date
at the top. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept them.
See also our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
